Ok, I have about 15k in chips. started off with 7k. Middle of the tourney with about 35-40 players left. blinds are 100-200 and a player who has just come to my table raises from UTG to 1250. a loose player to my right calls. (im in mid pos) I look down at AKHH. The UTG raise scares the heck out of me. I wanted to reraised, but worried about him and the smooth call to my right. I decide Ill see a flop first to make a decision and just call ther 1250 raise. All other fold.

The flop comes
AC QH 10D....

UTG goes all in. for more then my stack and is called by the loose player to my right. What do u do here? I first thought he had a smiliar hand like AK AQ, maybe KK...but hands like AQ QQ AA all beat me here. the loose player I really think has very little of a hand. I think about it and fold, thinking obviously Im beat here.

UTG turn over KJ for the nuts and loose player shoes A9off. Nut straigth holds up and doubles up.

now..if I had reraised preflop, I think I could have gotton them both out of hand or at the least the KJ hand. Thoughts on how I played it?

With one caller already and no read on UTG. FOLD and pick a better spot to move chips.

FWIW I may have reraised PF in your position looking to isolate. This is read dependant tho, and with one unknown could be a loosing proposition.

I usually reraise pre. Combination of hand strength and fold equity makes me play aggressively particularly if other people are looking to survive. Plus here UTG may put you on a squeeze and call with dominated hands. I don't mind calling although I'd be happier to do so c/o or bu when I'm gonna have (or likely have) position on the flop.
