Ok for you ya who's here even tho I had joined here a long time a go and just haven't made regular appearances I figure I would do a reappearance and reintroduction,
add any type of music you like, my choice of course is some decent 70's 80's good rock and roll stuff, like Styx, or even Canadian Rock such as Rush, Saga, The Band, BTO. The Guess Who, Even Gordon Lightfoot lol.
Poker is the forum here, so I was born in Hamilton Ontario Canada, raised in Niagara Falls, grew up next to a bar were I learned how to play Stud poker at 16-17 watching a bunch of old drunken guys in a back corner playing that game. So at 18, when I was legal to drink, and had some money I joined in, now knowing after watching a few years how to play. At 23 I ventured to Vegas for my 1st trip, and my 1st live tournament, where I was the one of 3 females playing. There were 500 entries, for $25.00+ 5.00 back then at Harrah's. and I placed 1st lol for $1800.00 There were a lot of pissed men I tell you, saying women didn't belong playing poker. Obviously I proved them wrong. Anyways that was my start into the game. Well then After that played some cash games and some tournaments when I could. got married and gave it up I guess. Started back about 10 years ago with No Limit Holdem and got back into some mild playing. 3 years ago my playing picked up with some courses and more following and web site joining. Tv watching and this year back to my stud game were the last 3 months started to ecel in that game again, it's funny how you don't forget.
I met Cali and Raise Ha on another Poker forum before holdem freaks was started, and Met Mark and Judy last year at NAPC in Niagara , talked with Sandy a few times on the phone. Meet a few great people on the poker forms here and in my other group, as what can I tell you I have a love and passion for the game. I am not that great at holdem or at Omaha but stud, I can hold my own lol.
In my real life I am Forensic Psychiatric Nurse, I love to cook, travel, swim, love all sports especially hockey. I am crazy as they come and a hoot to party with. well hope to meet some of you and hope you all have a pleasant day and see you at the table.
