Got a e-mail from PS last night. I just opened it now to see that my account has been frozen. It says there are rules to follow about what u put in ur city. I never put ANYTHING offensive i only put 922. So they said i will have to change it to update my info or have my account close. This is bullshit, i never put anything bad in there, i have seen some crazy shit ppl put in there..

Well i hope to be up and running soon and back on the felt. But for now im sidelined. If anyone wants to view the email i will be more then happy to email it off to u or figure a way to post it in here... :censored::censored::censored:...

Hello Sandra,

PokerStars' policy on City field updates for real money players requires
that your city field must reflect your actual location and match the
information registered to the transaction methods you use at PokerStars
(e.g. Credit Card account).

We have updated the City field in your PokerStars account to reflect your
correct location as per your other account information. If this is no longer
correct, to update your 'City', start the PokerStars software, and from the
Lobby screen, select:

'Account -> Change Account -> Change Mailing Address...'

Please ensure that your listed 'City' matches your actual location at all
times. If you are from a small town and concerned about your privacy we will
consider allowing you to list the nearest large city to you.

The reason for this requirement is that in a live poker venue, opponents can
see your interaction with other players and are less concerned with whether
or not you have friends or associates at the table.

Online, players like to feel that they are playing against real people from
real places. They would also like to know if they are playing against
several players from the same city or general location. While this in itself
obviously constitutes no wrongdoing, it would alert a player to watch for
unusual plays from these players. We realize this issue is largely a matter
of perception, however, in the online world perception is a very serious issue.

Please be aware that any further updates to the City field in your account
which do not comply with our policy, may result in your city change
privileges being revoked.

Geez! What a load of crap. I can't tell you how many games I've played that had more than one person from the same place. Even busted a few cheating as well. Biggest violators are from other countries and they do it in their own language. If this is policy then we need to make the Russians in particular, print their locations in English, not the Cyrillic equivilent.

I just wish who ever this person is, they would just leave us alone and let us play our games the way we always do, with Barron from JokersStars Support making his regular visits to our tables with the banter we always have, leaving my location alone (so what if I want PlayBoy Mansion or Northern Cali)..I hope who ever this is realizes that I can retaliate by reporting that we are being nitpicked on by the same person over and over. How long were you frozen for?

It frozen for one stupid reason. When I logged on I seen it was changed to a town I use to live in. So I changed it back to 922. They said for that reason that I was told and still changed it. But the ****ed part is I never checked my email cause I got the email while I was in the early game. But nothing came up on the screen as in the violations I have gotten before. But what ill sit for a week side lined. Ill play my friends account and watch that's all good. But yes Cali it was very close except they had a paragraph about the suspension cause I changed it after they change it. So ill be back hopefully for the next Sundays chick vs. Dicks...

Some no balls wuss is targeting us and I would put money on who I think it is. Everybody but the new folks know who I am talking about. well a week ago i was on air on spazzradio and before i joined the hf game i wrote on my city spazzradio on air and i took it off right after the hf game and 30 min later i got same email from stars only i had a warning a year ago on the play tables so my email read a lil diff i cant change my city now for three months cause its locked. but only place i had spazz on city was in a hf game. so we can say for sure its someone playing hf or railing hf.

and ya may wanna ask Scott also he got same letter as me

I have written an email to PS asking when those folks who use the Cyrillic alphabet will be required to change to the English alphabet. Want to bet what the answer will be.

its ok. Im not going to cry or even get mad cause i dont no who it is that is doing it to us. But there is not a whole lot i can do. I email PS to appeal like i have done many times in the past to try to get chat back, and they were usally pretty good. But there answer was that since i change it with in a hour of them changing it that now i have to sit side lined. Oh well i have 2 great kids and even more time i can spend with them.. So thank all for the comments and i hope to try to make it to this coming Sundays game.

Just one Question to cali or the couple that run the site.. How do u get stars to write the tourny as Chicks vs. "Dicks"? I mean that in it self is a violation of there own policies!!! PS's response was that if you have someone who is violating this rule, complain. which makes me believe that POO POO HEAD is doing this.
