Navarro (poker tells given by Rose above) also has a book which has pretty much replaced Caro's work as the definitive work on the topic. Although Caro's stuff is great too.

thx Kat
Narravo is awesome for sure and is worth it, if anyone gets the chance to take his course at the WSOP do it well worth the money. He also does course on his own. He will also criticize your own tells as well.
he does have his own site and course , A book is also available

Kat I do believe your available for coaching as well and people Kat is a tough and a decent coach is what I hear, he may be expensive and hard on his pupils but you will learn lots, so if you have the time to want to learn and get in touch with Kat via PM.
There are personal coaches out there anyone one who is interested in them I do know a few of them who specialize in NLHE but are a bit pricey but are pro's and make good money and have the stats to prove it. They are time consuming will buddy up on skype, watch your games, give you strict guide lines, and will go over every inch of your hand histories. You want hand analysis they will give it to you in great detail with unbelievable rational for each movement and play.

I just checked all the links work
Since you mentioned it Rose I do coach N/LHE, PLO and P/LO8. Previously this has been done mostly one-on-one but I'll be offering short "classes" over the summer if there is demand in PLO and/or PLO8. Info below.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
As most of you know I've been coaching poker players on and off for the last few years. I recently realized that one of the skills I developed as a university professor was in course development, and for the most part that isn't something I've really utilized in one-on-one stuff. A lot of the job in any classes is basically disseminating information in such a way that less experienced people can grasp it without having to dig through all these damn books and training videos themselves. So I thought I'd try running a short poker course if there is any interest. I think this might work particularly well for forum members since through posts here and playing against you I have some idea of what you know already.
So... What do I know about that most of you guys don't? PLO and PLO8. And since I know your abilities in NLHE, I could tailor a course in either PLO or PLO8 (and I guess LO8 for HORSE players) as a kind of conversion class, exploiting what you know in NLHE to bring out the salient features of Omaha variants.
Why should you consider taking such a class?
1. It'll be fun.
2. There is MUCH more money to be made in PLO and PLO8 than in NLHE if you get to grips with a few basic principles.
3. It really will be fun.
4. I've been doing a lot of studying of PLO/8 recently and I've realized that while the details of both forms are a bit tricky, a lot of the people playing at low-mid levels have huge holes in their understanding of the basics. These holes are easy to fill.
5. It'll be lots of fun.
6. Surely you guys get bored playing NLHE???
Exactly how this course would run would be decided in large part by the people taking the course, but it might include some or all of the following:
i) Live sweat sessions through screen sharing (can that be done multiway?)
ii) Short videos made by me of my hands and/or general concepts.
iii) Class discussion via Skype of, e.g., my edited hand histories chosen to illustrate key points.
iv) Elegant summaries of central concepts written by me and spell-checked using widgets, or other new-fangled contraptions.
v) There could even be quizzes!
Now the bad news. Costs are negotiable but I probably need to clear something like $50 per contact hour. This may sound high but remember I have to put together the course and that requires some time, particularly if I can figure out the video thing. But... if 5 people sign up that is only $10/hr each. I think useful work could be done in as little as 3 hours, although a minimum of 5 would be better. Anyone interested in doing follow up one-on-one could so so at my absurdly low rate of $30/hr.
So let me know, here if you like. And if you have any ideas of course elements or approaches I'd be most interested.
