90 Man KN

Last night I recieved an invite to play along with a few other members here at the forum in a 90 man KN on PokerStars. I missed it unfortunatly bu it looked like alot of fun!! For every person you knocked out you recieved 1.25 directly deposiited in your account! (too bad we cant set up privates like this on Stars..do away with nonshippers!) It pays 12 people too! This is something that we all might want to check out. It also can be played at lower limits too!

If anyone has played in this, how is the best way to play in them?

Best way to play em IMO is to ignore that the bounties exist. Most of the $$$ is still in the regular prize pool and if you go deep you'll likely pick up bounties anyway.

I think you can set-up private KO tourns at Tilt.

Kat, thats exactly how I would play it. Ignoring the bounties. Just paly your game and you will most likely catch the bounties anyway.

a few of us played last Sunday, Coach, Meli, Kev and I, both Kev and I made the Ft, I got only 1 bounty the entire game and went out in 8th place. Kev got 14.5 bounties and 2nd place. Today played one got 3 bounties and went out in 22nd but got out on a bad beat AA got cracked

Ok, So this isnt a 90 man KO but its a start right? I am LOVING this (and watching the last episode of 24)..I took 1st place and 5 bounties!

Awesome Cali! I played one yesterday. One of the 9mans... took a bounty and 3rd place. Had a good time. I'm going to have to dedicate an afternoon to one of the 90 mans one of these days. I have a long weekend this coming weekend (and a husband who is attending a reunion (VERY LONG STORY)) so this might be just the thing!

You only need abuot 2 hours at the most for one of these. You will get the first 45 players out in 30 to 45 minutes. These can be giant donk fests. When you are down to 2 tables it can get a little long. As long as you are patient and use good table sense you should be able to cash. (BTW, they pay 12).
