I want to start out by saying I quit Kruz radio because Mole would never show up for games and so when HF invaded kruz and i saw you all had your own forum i was excited that I might have a permanent forum to play with and that you all have a game everynight of the week. Now most of the people I have played with are nice... it only takes a few to rub someone the wrong way and make them not want to come back and after last night's game i don't care to play here anymore, My screen name at Pokerstars is( eyekall )and i won a hand against Raise Ha and in the chat window i see a meesage out of no where and right when he loses that said "We attract the dumb ones here" Then everytime i played a hnad or made a comment Afrosheen makes a refference to my play or to my comment with some sort of rudeness to it so it's obvious I don't deserve and am not good enogh to play amongst the ranks of him so i have chosen to make last night's game my last. maybe i will find a forum where they treat new members with some level of respect and want them to keep playing instead of making them feel unwelcome and not worthy of playing with them... well there it is said and done.. gl all and no hard feelings to the ones that it doesnt' apply to. But I will spend my money else where......

First off. You are good enough to play at our forum. We are not a bunch of "ELITIST" poker players here. We have a wide variety of styles of play here. Some of it makes us drop our jaws and have us scratching our heads, but if you play with the same players long enough, you will realize its how they play, so take it into consideration when someone will play a hand that another might think is played wrong.

In this case I thought your call of Raise Ha's river bet was very risky, but right on, as he had ziltch and was bluffing to steal the pot. Nice read. Raise Ha got caught and didn't like it much. He made a mistake with what he said in the chat and should appoligise, being it has obviously offended you.

We certainly don't want to chase players away from our games and hope you will reconsider. We all pay our money and that gives us the right to play any way we want too. Some players are more thick skinned than others I don't know of any poker player that has not at sometime or another been called something derogatory, and we won't tollerate abusive non stop over the top chat. In this case, what Raise Ha said was more of a heat of the moment, inappropriate comment IMO.

Knowing Raise Ha the way I do. I"m sure he will do the right thing. I hope to see you at the tables.

Not sure how I got brought into this particular hand or post, however yeah I will make some questionable comments about hands when I believe it's fit, and by no means attempt to be rude or drive anyone away from the game. The hand I remember clearly was my JJ against your 44, in which I made a preflop raise (600 i think, with 3k or so in chips), you pushed all in (with 6-7k in chips), I call. My remark was "I don't know how you do that" at the very least, I don't have a log in front of me to quote the whole discussion, feel free to shed some light further if you wish. Whatever it was you were risking 3/4 of your chips on a very low pair, short handed or not. In my opinion if people don't like constructive criticism or "poker" comments related to the game, then it's quite obvious there are issues and maybe other methods should be attempted like muting a person or even turning off the chat. But yes I will give and take any criticism anyone wants to dish out. I think that criticism is both educational and provides an insite into the other person if they let this bother then both positively and negatively. If we take away the "tilting" approach to the game, it's not poker. I also understand there is a line between this and being rude, please anyone feel free to fill me in on my rudeness that you speak of.

Otherwise, don't quit just because you can't handle the criticism, it's simply that nothing personal, if you are offended, my apologies. If folks take it wrong, so be it, I'll keep apologizing and eventually once people understand the discussion surrounding the game it will make sense.

I just started posting here and I've only played 1 game so far. I don't know anyone and not trying to take sides IMO as a poker player you need to be able to ignore rude comments. Not saying they were, because I wasnt there when it went down. But a lot of time you will run into a player that is on tilt and won't stop even long after they got knocked out. They will rail you till the end. You need to be able to ignore it.

So ask your old lady for you balls... take them out the jar... put them on and goto work! :D j/k by the way...

I'm a firm believer that poker is a game of decisions. In any tourney you play there are scores of decisions to be made. EVERYONE (and I include myself in this group) makes bad choices regularly. The key to improvement is to learn from mistakes. Criticizm from other players has a role in this. While I probably should have chosen my words more carefully, and I offer my apology as a result, the point still remains. You called an 800 chip re-pop with a pair of 8s. While some would say you had an excellent read, that's fantasy. What happened was that a bad call was rewarded.

If you pay your entry, you're entitled to play any way you wish. I know this and usually subscribe to it but I've made enough deposits this last year losing to terrible calls by so many people that at times I feel entitled to a little jab. Combine that with the fact that we play for $5 buy ins and far too often hands result in a game of showdown. If I don't speak up in these extreme cases players are going to believe the "gh" comments from others who had to be seeing something different than I.

My role here is obviously not to drive away players and sometimes I regret the things I say. Had you said something at the table I probably would have offered an apology right on the spot. Can I promise that I'll never again say something to a player after an incredible outcome after a hand? No. But I think everyone understands that if I'm paying my way into the tourneys also, I'm entitled to the same emotions as everyone else. Sometimes I step on my tongue. I am sorry.

I hope you do not leave over this. We all have frustration on certain calls at the tables and sometimes we vent at the table. I don't think anyone here can say they have never had this happen to them (whether they be on the giving or receiving side). I was there when it happened (observing) and did think Raise, Ha! was dissapointed but I don't think he meant any harm and he did not keep on with it.

I have seen people that get upset and do not let it go and keep badgering the other person throughout the game. And I think that is going to happen at any forum at one time or another. But I don't feel that is the case the other night. I got frustrated on a different night and actually made comments at table indirectly showing my frustration. But I always get over it and move on. I think if you stay here long enough you will see that 99% of the people are good people and like to harass each other in a good way.

I did not give you any earth shattering enlightenment here, but I hope you reconsider your choice and if not then good luck to you in finding another forum with people as good as this forum has. :drum:

Been on vacation for over a week and I wanted to put my two cents worth whether Barron, Todd, or God liked it.

Glad to hear this was worked out........I feel the love flowing.
I recall a few times where i went off a little bit when i first got here. And im one to keep his cool mostly.Were all gonna make questionable plays at one time or another for whatever reason and were all gonna suck out. The nature of the beast.
Still gotta love everyone here from the good to the new player. For $5 we play together and the $ 5stays within the same forum. $5not gonna hurt anyone.
